2020 Vision.

Happy New Year.

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, my Christmas was a good one, working in retail Christmas goes by too fast, however I am grateful that my company was closed on Boxing Day. My New Years was a quite one with a firework display down the coast with a Baileys hot chocolate, the first time I've had one just wow.  I seen it in with my dad (who's visiting from China) and Joanne (my cousin) who was watching them in the car until she knew I was there too and she stood with us.
How did you celebrate?

2020...
Is a year I genuinely can't wait for, you know when people say that a year is going to be their year I fully believe 2020 is mine. I have a few things coming up, that I can't wait for my countdown app is ready and loaded.

January - Me and Ryan are spending 5 days in Krakow, I already have places starred in my google maps to visit, Auschwitz and the Salt Mines included.
For the first time in 35 years a baby boy is due to be born in our family. Little baby Archie, I wrote about his baby shower here.

February - Me and Cam are visiting York for the night, we decided for our Christmas presents to each other i'd pay for trains to somewhere and she'd pay for the hotel and when we go it just so happens to be the day after her birthday, so I'm thinking of booking a little surprise for her.
Me Hollie and Joanne are seeing Sigala at the 02 Academy in Newcastle, we seen him last year and a few years ago at The Big Reunion and he was amazing, there isn't a song of his I don't like.
He's also the very first celebrity I've had a photo taken with.

March - Since we loved going to Rome with each other me and Cam wanted to go away together again, so we've booked to go to Prague for a few days, which I can't wait for. If you follow @melisliving on Instagram you'd see she's been to Prague over the Christmas seeing her stories, I just can't wait to go.

May/ June - My dad and step mam are looking to buy a house in Malaga, so they're going over for a month so hopefully I can squeeze a cheeky weekend out there with them.

July -  At my last job I became friends with two girls, 6 years later we're basically sisters one of them is getting married!
So this month is the Hen weekend, my first hen party where I'm old enough to actually drink alcohol. Wheyyyy, me and Cam are both bridesmaids for Shannon. We've booked a weekend in Manchester, doing an obstacle course called It's a Knockout during the day then, we're seeing the Dream Boys on the night time.
Also in July me Joanne Hollie Cam and Nadia are looking to book a weekend in Amsterdam for Joanne's birthday.

August - IT'S SHANNONS WEDDING!!

That's all I have to look forward to so far, exciting isn't it. Like every year I'm going to try and loose weight, I managed to loose a stone this year but as soon as Christmas comes I'm a pig in a blanket again ahaha. I genuinely need to stop eating crap as of like yesterday as Shannon's ordered the Bridesmaid dresses and I told her to get a size down, determination is key here!
Another holiday with Ryan hopefully a week in the sun would be nice.
Also this year I want to start driving, I have no clue about cars but with a bigger contract and more money coming in the next few months I'm confident I can do it. Just don't know whether to pay as you go our get block bookings.

What are your plans for 2020?

  3. Happy New Year! Wow, you've already got most of this year planned! The hen party and wedding sound like so much fun!! And all that travel- I'm so jealous! The only thing I have planned for this year is going to Hawaii with my sister, brother-in-law, and niece. It's my first time going and I'm so excited! I just wish the US wasn't as spread out so I could visit more places like in Europe. Ah, well.

But I hope your 2020 is full of fun and excitement and even more fun things pop up for you! :)

  7. Sounds like you have so many exciting things coming up this year! I really love the idea of booking a trip for a Christmas present. Back in 2018, my boyfriend got me a Ryanair voucher that we used to book a trip to Hamburg and it was honestly the perfect gift!
I've also always wanted to visit Spain, so I really hope your plan to go to Malaga for a weekend works out x
